[Revelation 11:1-2 KJV] And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
[2] But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
So what is all this measuring about? It’s still the same Angel (JESUS) that was Standing on the sea and earth from Chapter 10. That Angel was about getting ready to Judge …so measure what He is about to Judge (70 A.D.).
[Matthew 7:2 KJV] For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
[2 Corinthians 10:12 KJV] For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
JESUS Returned in the clouds as
The Angel of The LORD!!!
[Revelation 10:1-3 KJV] And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven,
clothed with a cloud:
and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
There were Two Witnesses that Said He would Return in a Cloud. There were Two Witnesses right there as He Returned.
[Acts 1:10-11 KJV] And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
[11] Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
42 months is 3.5 Years.
1260 days is 3.5 Years.
[Revelation 11:3-4 KJV] And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
[4] These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
There were Two Witnesses for the Rebuild of The Temple as they were leaving exile of babylon. Zerubbabel (GOD Called him His servant) governor and Jeshua (Joshua) High Priest (Compared to CHRIST).
[Zechariah 4:11 KJV] Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
[Zechariah 4:14 KJV] Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
Revelation 11 is about The Coming of New Jerusalem. So The Two Witnesses for Rev 11 are obviously not Zerubbabel and Joshua.
Romans 3:20-21 KJV — Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Moses and Elijah at The Transfiguration were Witnessing! Otherwise, what was the point of them being There?
Revelation is Extremely Symbolic. For 3.5 Years The Witnesses of The Mosaic Age Testified against Jerusalem.
[Deuteronomy 31:26 KJV] Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.
[Romans 2:15 KJV] Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another; )
[Revelation 11:5 KJV] And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
Moses and Elijah did these things!:
[Revelation 11:6 KJV] These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
[Isaiah 55:4 KJV] Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
the false prophets of the abomination of desolation ascended out of the Foundation-less and artificial Faith …overcame them
[Revelation 11:7 KJV] And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
there was absolute chaos in Jerusalem right before 70 A.D. …they didn’t want to listen to Fundamentals of The Relationship.
Why point out that Jerusalem is Spiritually called that? Because This wasn’t literal:
Sodom = sin/flesh
Egypt = spiritual slavery
[Revelation 11:8-10 KJV] And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
[9] And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
[11] And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
Something similar but opposite had already happened:
[Jeremiah 14:15-16 KJV] Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.
[16] And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them.
[Lamentations 2:21 KJV] The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed, and not pitied.
[Acts 10:43 KJV] To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
You are either dead in sin ….or you are dead in CHRIST.
The Witnesses are dead in CHRIST. …and three days later they had Life in CHRIST!!! We are those Witnesses when we become Born Again:
[Revelation 11:11-12 KJV] And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
[12] And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
[Acts 1:8-9 KJV] But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
[9] And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
1 John 5:10
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
To have the Witness in you, is to have the Knowledge of CHRIST in you, and to have the LIFE of CHRIST in you.
[2 Peter 1:3 KJV] According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me,
Beautiful feet of those on The Narrow Path …A Witness:
[Romans 10:15 KJV] And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
A Witness Knows GOD
John 17:3 ESV
And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
An earthquake is a Relationship quake. 70 A.D. is at The Door:
[Revelation 11:13-14 KJV] And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
[14] The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
The Seventh Trump …The Last Trump: The Kingdoms of the world became The Kingdoms of Our LORD …sounds like 70 A.D. to me:
[Revelation 11:15 KJV] And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
The Elders became Legitimate: they didn’t need hope anymore. There is Now a Bridge to THE FATHER.
[Revelation 11:16-17 KJV] And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
[17] Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
Wrath and Judgment, right Here in Chapter 11:
[Revelation 11:18 KJV] And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
The Mosaic Age Ended. Those in The Blood Covenant could now Bridge:
[Revelation 11:19 KJV] And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
[Daniel 9:24 KJV] Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
