Once you celebrate your birthday, does it denotes denial of yourself?

Does it suit to denying yourself on a daily basis and taking up your own cross daily?

Giving one day out of 365 days “for yourself” to celebrate cannot be found in the word of God.

Such is never a tradition of the people of God.

we can recognize people’s birthdays without offending God or causing sin. If we are living for Christ, we are not going to slide directly into sin and death just because it happens to be our or someone else’s birthday and we want to tell them how grateful we are to know and love them. Celebrating Bday is for sure doctrines of men and not of Christ.

But we do learn more through the Holy Spirit leading and guiding. The Holy Spirit produces fruit and matures the fruit in us. The Holy Spirit adds His fruit to our lives.

When you were born physically you were not the size that you are now. You had to grow. And you didn’t lay in bed saying little arms and little legs grow. It automatically happened.

All our days are written before we’ve experienced a one as it is written. The Holy Spirit matures and takes one from milk to meat. It is a process of growth. One is saved by Grace through Faith. God is big enough to grow us physically the way He wants to. And God is big enough to grow us Spiritually the Way He wants to.
